Course Structure

In the (VUCA- volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) world we live in, professionals aiming for more growth in shorter time-frames, find themselves constantly stressed out. In the rush to meet stringent deadliness , they are constantly multi-tasking, leaving almost no time to relax, unwind and release stress through their personal lives. The commute to work in urban spaces is getting longer, as people move to more distantly located residences owing to rising costs. At work, there is an immense, relentless expectation to be productive and inventive in their field and be connected 24/7 to an online, detached audience on social media. With high ambitions, patience runs low, and stress takes a heavy physical and emotional toll on health. Being unable to unwind, several hours a day, several days a week, unannounced changes in roles and teams, sudden deadlines causing sleep deprivation, working weekends, lead to inter-team, interpersonal conflict. Also, the fear of being laid off –( high in the start-up space), leads to professionals living in a permanently state of flight or flight. Endless hours on the desk, facing a hyper active intra-office/social media screen, leads to stress hormones constantly getting released into the cardio vascular system. This leads to significant health damage in the long run. Man-days are lost due to illness directly caused by pressures faced in our daily jobs.
