Manager Development Program | 2-Day Leadership Workshop @ Leading Fintech Innovator | 2024

Program Overview
In a fast-moving fintech, mid-level managers are where strategy meets execution. They’re the ones translating big-picture vision into daily actions, managing teams that are growing rapidly, and navigating the complexity that comes with scale. But here’s the thing—most of them got promoted because they were great individual contributors, not because they had formal leadership training.
That gap becomes expensive fast in a high-growth environment. We designed this 2-day intensive to give these managers the strategic thinking, collaborative skills, and leadership capabilities they needed to truly thrive in their roles. The focus wasn’t on theory—it was on the real challenges they face when trying to influence without authority, delegate effectively, and keep their teams future-ready in a constantly evolving landscape.
The goal was simple: help mid-managers develop from good executors to great leaders who could drive both performance and culture in an organization that doesn’t have time for slow learning curves.

Key Themes Covered
1. Leading with Strategic Vision
It’s one thing to understand the company’s annual operating plan; it’s another to translate that into priorities your team can actually execute. We focused on how to connect long-term thinking with day-to-day team objectives in ways that create clarity and momentum.
2. Building High-Performing Teams
Great managers don’t just manage—they develop future leaders. We worked on delegation that actually builds capability, feedback that drives accountability, and the art of pushing people to grow without burning them out.
3. Influencing Without Authority
In a matrix organization, you spend half your time working with people who don’t report to you. We tackled how to navigate across HR, business units, and horizontal teams to gain alignment and drive outcomes when you can’t just give orders.
4. Managing Execution with Agility
Priorities shift constantly in fintech, but your team still needs to deliver results. We explored how to balance evolving requirements while maintaining team momentum and keeping everyone focused on what actually matters.
5. Talent Management & Planning
In a growth environment, you’re always thinking about the next hire and the next promotion. We worked on proactively identifying high-potential talent, planning for team expansion, and creating development paths that keep your best people engaged and growing.
