Program Overview

In retail and lifestyle businesses, ideas move at the speed of conversation. Mid-level managers who can’t communicate with clarity, influence without authority, or tell compelling stories about data find themselves sidelined, regardless of their technical expertise or strategic insights.

This reality prompted a leading diversified lifestyle and retail organization to partner with us for a focused intervention: transforming 19 mid-level managers into confident communicators who could drive alignment across functions, engage stakeholders in digital environments, and influence outcomes through the power of structured storytelling.

The challenge was specific but complex. These managers needed to excel in high-stakes conversations where careers and business outcomes hung in the balance, navigate cross-functional dynamics where formal authority meant little, and communicate effectively in increasingly digital and distributed work environments. Generic communication training wouldn’t suffice—they needed practical tools that worked in their fast-paced, relationship-driven industry.
