3 Years of Developing Future-Ready Leaders through Daksh @ Leading FMCG–Agribusiness Giant | 2022–2024

Program Overview

In agriculture, leadership challenges are as diverse as the crops you grow. Mid-to-senior managers must navigate seasonal volatility, regulatory complexity, supply chain disruptions, and evolving customer demands—all while building teams that can perform consistently across geographies and business cycles.

The Daksh program emerged from this reality at a leading agri-enterprise where the leadership pipeline needed strengthening. The organization required more than periodic training—they needed a consistent, engaging capability-building experience that could evolve with changing business needs while maintaining core leadership principles.

Over three transformative years, Daksh became the flagship intervention for preparing future-ready leaders who could navigate uncertainty and drive performance in one of India’s most dynamic industries. What started as a single cohort experiment grew into a comprehensive leadership development ecosystem that reached over 200 managers across multiple business units and geographies.

The program’s strength lay in its evolution—each cohort built on insights from previous iterations, creating a continuous learning laboratory that stayed relevant to emerging leadership challenges while maintaining proven foundations.

  • Strategic Thinking & Business Acumen

Participants explored practical frameworks for making better decisions under ambiguity, aligning daily actions to strategic priorities, and understanding how their choices directly impacted financial outcomes—crucial skills in an industry where margins depend on countless small decisions.

  • Influencing Without Authority

Through intensive simulations and role plays, managers learned to drive change even when they lacked formal control, building trust and navigating complex organizational dynamics that characterize matrix structures in large agri-enterprises.

  • Leadership Communication

The workshops emphasized developing clarity, empathy, and assertiveness in leading conversations and shaping team alignment—essential when managing diverse teams across rural and urban contexts with varying levels of formal education and experience.

  • Driving Execution with Purpose

Participants gained practical tools to balance long-term strategic goals with short-term operational demands, learning how to lead high-performing teams that could deliver consistent results despite seasonal and market volatility.

Program Impact

Throughout this three-year journey, Daksh created a foundation for leadership excellence that extended far beyond individual skill development, establishing new standards for how leadership was understood and practiced across the organization. The program’s sustained impact became evident through both immediate behavioral changes and long-term organizational transformation.

  • Unified Leadership Language The program established common frameworks and vocabulary across all levels and geographies, enabling seamless collaboration between managers from different business units and creating consistency in leadership approach throughout the organization.
  • Enhanced Strategic Capability Participants developed significantly stronger strategic and financial acumen, moving from operational thinking to strategic perspective, with many reporting improved confidence in contributing to business planning and decision-making processes.
  • Organizational Alignment Through experiential learning and shared frameworks, the program created deeper alignment on organizational priorities, with managers better understanding how their roles contributed to broader business objectives and market positioning.
  • Influence and Impact Leaders gained practical confidence in driving outcomes without relying solely on formal authority, using relationship-building, strategic communication, and organizational dynamics knowledge to create meaningful change in their spheres of influence.
